As a social media consultant for Yahoo!'s pilot program, I managed and executed all social media leading up to, during, and after our live streaming after-shows. From each pilot we were able to learn, adjust, and implement new strategies for the next with increasing consumer engagement, growth, and retention. For example, on our second show we were able to maintain an almost 50% engagement retention the day after the show. - Empire on FOX and our after-show on Yahoo! had a 2.3% engagement rate and 83k impressions during the 2 hour period where we tweeted 38 times.
- Our second pilot was Once Upon A Time on ABC with a 6.2% engagement rate the night of, and a 3.4% engagement rate the following day, a 2.7x increase from our previous show.
- Our last pilot was Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D on ABC which earned 1.2M impressions and a 3.8% engagement rate which was extremely high considering #AgentsofSHIELD trended globally that night, meaning we were in competition with thousands of tweets for consumer eyes.
