To get the word out about Hightail’s rebrand (formerly known as YouSendIt), we devised a plan to partner with one of the highest trafficked blogs for freelancers and creatives most likely to use their service and launched a campaign target at creative in San Francisco. Hightail, a cloud service to send and receive large files was a perfect fit for the blog Clients From Hell, a site where people aired grievances or shared a laugh over difficult clients.
We skinned their site with a new background and wrote several rotating ads and blog posts to help kick-start our social campaign.

During the three-day campaign, we sent dozens of gifts around the city to those who tweeted at us, including breakfast to an agency that had just finished a project and a keg to a company who was watching the World Series together. Did we help the Giants win the World Series that year? Well, we didn’t not help them.
